Heavy duty chain feeder

The heavy-duty chain feeder consists of 6 parts:

  • Drive device
  • Shoe
  • Tensioning mechanism
  • Base frame
  • Drive shaft
  • Support roller

Drive Shaft:
The connection between the main shaft, sprockets, and bearing housing is backlash-free, which makes installation and disassembly convenient.

Tensioning Device:
It consists of a threaded tensioning rod, sliding bearing housing, rolling bearing, support roller, buffer spring, and other components. In case of impact from the load on the plate, the buffer spring absorbs the shock and effectively protects the equipment.

Support Roller:
The roller is made with surface hardening technology, making it wear-resistant and impact-resistant. Its service life is no less than 8 years.

Shoe:
The caterpillar chain construction is used, with minimal chain pitch deviation, high drive efficiency, stable operation, no need for lubrication, and a service life of no less than 10 years. A stamp-welding technology is applied to ensure a strong connection between plates and prevent excessive material leakage from gaps between joints, which is a common issue in traditional feeders.

Base Frame:
An H-shaped beam structure is applied, which is stable and strong.

Drive:
Mechanical and hydraulic motors.

Equipment Installation Type:
Horizontal and inclined. The upward inclination angle does not exceed 25º.
